A work in constant progress...
Nature and forms from nature inspire me. My work is principally designed to exist and evolve in outdoor locations as site-specific art. Between sculpture and installation, my projects are often ephemeral and depend on climate and space. Trying to combine both nature and culture, I mix natural materials and industrial resources to achieve my outdoor interventions. Each site suggests both form and materials for the artworks, which are direct responses to their particular environment. My research aims at exploring the various deployments of elements and seeks to redefine the boundaries of natural territory to become, briefly, an artistic territory.
Through my work, I try to occupy differently public or open spaces and I intend to transform the landscape. I’m fascinated by active moving, various way of discovering spaces and, of course, the meetings that allows that type of creation.
My art is often the result of collective creation. Working in external environment is certainly a concrete form of sharing art and its process.
